Rabat is 85 km north on the motorway (1 hour). El Jadida is 110 km south-west (1h 15 min, motorway). Azemmour is 90 km south-west (1h 05 min). Mohammedia is 35 km north-east (30 minutes) for its beaches and golf courses. For a longer drive, Marrakech via the A3 is 245 km (2h 45 min), and Tangier is 340 km (3h 30 min, toll motorway the whole way). All routes are sealed and suitable for any car in our fleet.
Mohammed V Airport is 32 km from the city centre (35 minutes via the A7 motorway). The tramway runs through the centre — watch for tram-only lanes on Boulevard Mohammed V and Boulevard Zerktouni; fines for entering them are steep. Tips: use underground car parks in Maarif (15–20 MAD/session), keep a folder of 10 MAD coins for on-street attendants, and avoid the Casa-Port train station area between 17:00 and 19:00 unless you enjoy gridlock. The Casablanca–Rabat motorway (A3) is well lit and tolled — carry cash (about 25 MAD each way). Taxis are everywhere and metered for inside-the-city trips; rent a car for trips out of the city.
To rent a car with Route Facile you need a driving licence held for at least one year and a passport (for visitors) or a CIN (for residents). No deposit required. Licences issued in the Latin alphabet are accepted as they are; if yours is in another script, bring an International Driving Permit alongside it. The minimum age is 21.
