Every rate is one simple price: from 250 MAD (25 €) per day, up to 1,200 MAD (120 €) per day for luxury cars. Full insurance, unlimited mileage and a free second driver are included in that price, and there is no deposit.
Cap Spartel is 14 km west (20 minutes, sealed coastal road). The Caves of Hercules are 18 km (25 minutes, same coastal road). Asilah is 46 km south (40 minutes, motorway). Chefchaouen is 115 km south-east (2 hours, mountain road through the Rif — well maintained and suitable for any car). Tétouan is 65 km east (1 hour, motorway). For a longer drive, Fes is 330 km (3h 30 min, toll motorway), and Casablanca is 340 km (3h 30 min, motorway). All routes are suitable for any car in our fleet.
Ibn Battouta Airport is 12 km from the city centre (15 minutes, well signposted). The ferry port is in the city centre — follow signs for 'Tanger Ville.' Parking in the medina is limited; park at the port (20 MAD/session) and walk 10 minutes into the old city. The route to Cap Spartel is scenic but narrow — drive slowly and pull over for oncoming traffic. Free street parking along Avenue Mohammed VI in the new town. The Tangier–Tétouan motorway (A4) is tolled — carry about 25 MAD in cash. Taxis are plentiful and metered inside the city; rent a car for the coast, Asilah and Chefchaouen.
To rent a car with Route Facile you need a driving licence held for at least one year and a passport (for visitors) or a CIN (for residents). No deposit required. Licences issued in the Latin alphabet are accepted as they are; if yours is in another script, bring an International Driving Permit alongside it. The minimum age is 21. Drivers under 25 are welcome on our economy and compact categories.
