Rabat is compact, green and easy to drive. Route Facile delivers to Rabat-Salé Airport, to the Agdal and Hassan districts, and to hotels along the river.
The capital is pleasant to drive in by Moroccan standards, with wide avenues and manageable traffic. A car makes Salé, Temara and the beaches south of the city simple to reach, and Casablanca is under an hour away on the motorway.
Every rate is one simple price: from 250 MAD (25 €) per day, up to 1,200 MAD (120 €) per day for luxury cars. Full insurance, unlimited mileage and a free second driver are included in that price, and there is no deposit.
Salé is just across the river (5 km, 10 minutes). Temara and its beaches are 15 km south (20 minutes, coastal road). Casablanca is 85 km south-west (1 hour, toll motorway A3). Kenitra is 50 km north (40 minutes, motorway). Meknes is 150 km east (1h 45 min, motorway). For a longer drive, Fes is 205 km (2h 15 min, motorway the whole way). All routes are sealed and suitable for any car in our fleet.
Rabat-Salé Airport is 10 km from the city centre (15 minutes, well signposted). The tramway runs through Avenue Mohammed V and Avenue Hassan II — watch for tram-only lanes; fines are steep. Underground parking is available in Agdal (15–20 MAD/session) and near the train station (Rabat-Ville, 10 MAD/hour). Street parking in the Hassan district is free but fills up by 09:00 on weekdays. The Rabat–Casablanca motorway (A3) is tolled — carry about 25 MAD in cash. Taxis are blue, metered, and reliable inside the city; rent a car for Temara, Casablanca and the coast.
To rent a car with Route Facile you need a driving licence held for at least one year and a passport (for visitors) or a CIN (for residents). No deposit required. Licences issued in the Latin alphabet are accepted as they are; if yours is in another script, bring an International Driving Permit alongside it. The minimum age is 21. Drivers under 25 are welcome on our economy and compact categories.
